"I've usually only bought fries, even 20 years ago. These new owners are young, fresh faces and are passionate. They are very approachable and love chatting. The burger is fantastic, if you are hungry and want a proper burger, look no further. Well dressed, well appropriated and good ingredients make for a incredibly hearty and delightful burger. The fries are as you'd expect, which is not to say they're not worth mentioning, but they're great, the same fries we've come to love since 1977! Yes, they accept card."

"It is a good truck. And it moves around. Make sure you check their Facebook page before heading out becaaue they are at different locations sometimes. They have 3 locations and sometimes they don't open because they have events. Back to the food. I ordered fish and chips and both the fish and fires are very crispy. $13 for 2 pieces including tax. It is equivalent to $11.3 before tax at other joints. I took the bus to Fairview just to try their fish and chips!"

"What a burger! Just tried this while visiting Halifax Nova Scotia. Came recommended by a few people, and man, it was hands down the best burger I've ever had. I went back three times over the two week span I was there. Cheers!"

"We were in Halifax for 5 days. We found Bud the Spud on the internet and decided to try their fish and chips. It's the best fish and chips I've had so far! The batter is crunchy and melts in your mouth. The fish inside is juicy and tender. The price is reasonable too! Highly recommended!"

"Stopped in to try the burger and have to say really good!! Only thing was I have had Bud the Spud fries for years especially on Spring Garden rd. And was a bit disappointed. Fries were not crisp a were especially greasy. Maybe an off day? Otherwise great spot to stop for a burger. Comfortable atmosphere , friendly staff and attentive and full marks on the burger"
